Boats 33 and 34 are equipped with electric motors made possible by Robust-MT. Robust-MT Marine Technology, based in Monster, is at the forefront of these developments and, together with the City of Amsterdam, is part of the national Sustainable Boating Coalition. This allows Westland and the Corso to lead the way, which is exactly what our water quality needs.
These two scout boats demonstrate just how quiet, clean, fun, and relaxing electric boating can be. With a 1,000-watt electric motor from ePropulsion, provided by Robust-MT Marine Technology, they can easily keep up with the Corso all day long, and with a solar panel, they sail in an energy-neutral and completely emission-free manner.
