Activities during the Varend Corso
The Westland Varend Corso does not consist only of passing boats. It consists of more, as numerous activities take place along the side in addition to the parade.
Below you will find the activities known to us that are organized by other parties.
Varend Corso Seniorenterras - 19 juni 2026
During the Floating Flower Parade, the Oranje Comité of De Lier and Stichting Liers Gevoel are organizing a senior terrace. This will take place on June 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM (outbound) or from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM (return).
The senior terrace is organized on the grass field next to the Bleijenburg Bridge, opposite Partycentrum ’t Centrum, Hoofdstraat 100.
The entrance fee is €2.00 per person for the outward journey and/or €2.00 per person for the return journey. This includes coffee/tea and a performance by Onder Zeil.
Tickets are available at Bloemsierkunst De Carlton, Hoofdstraat 19, De Lier.
Canal Cruise – Floating Flower Parade Westland – June 19, 2026
Rondvaartbedrijf De Gantel will sail along a scenic route to a location at the Verlengde Strijp. The boat will be moored there, allowing you to watch the parade pass by.
Time: 12:00 PM to approximately 3:50 PM
Boarding location: Flower Auction Honselersdijk, Elsenzijde, opposite Dijkweg 127

Varend Corso Westland Boat Tour - June 20, 2026
From Poeldijk, you will sail along a scenic route via the Gantel and the Nieuwe Vaart through Honselersdijk to a lovely spot near the Honselersdijk sports hall. Here, the boat will be moored, allowing you to watch the boats of the Floating Flower Parade pass by from the comfort of the vessel.
Time: 10:20 AM to approximately 2:10 PM

Canal Cruise – Floating Flower Parade Westland – June 20, 2026
From Monster, you will sail along a सुंदर route past ’s-Gravenzande towards Naaldwijk, where you will watch the parade go by from a beautiful spot. Afterwards, we follow the parade back along the same route to Monster.
Time: 11:55 AM to approximately 3:30 PM
Boarding location: Monster, quay along KUBO near Havenstraat 51, 2681 LC
Price: €20 each, including 1 soft drink (note: on one of the boats, coffee/tea is served instead).
