5a Participant: The Jungle Kids

• Title: Jungle Tour

Here are the Jungle Kids with their jungle boat. We’re a group of kids from Honselersdijk. We’re taking you on a Jungle Tour. Look at the front of our boat! There’s Krokoloco the crocodile. He’s not a vegetarian, so watch out! We chose the jungle as our theme because there are so many adventures to be had there.

We had a lot of fun building the boat.

Shhhhhhh… do you hear that? That’s Kaa, the constrictor snake. Don’t look him in the eyes for too long, or you’ll be hypnotized!

So let yourself be swept away by this wild jungle full of adventure, courage, and fun.

5b Participant: Sleepyheads

• Title: Dreamland

These girls from Wateringen are participating because it’s fun, they enjoy each other’s company, and because they can dance on the boat. They came up with the theme together. Dreaming is fun because anything is possible in your dreams. And that’s why we can let our imaginations run wild on this boat. The girls do everything but sleep on this boat, where the bed stands among the clouds and the Sleepyheads dance beneath the golden stars.  
The boat is decorated with pink, white, and yellow flowers, and of course the stuffed animals are coming along for the adventure these days on the boat. Initiator Amy has brought together friends from dance, handball, and school on this anything but sleep-inducing boat. Together they picked out the songs and spent many afternoons together designing and building the boat. Will you keep these Sleepyheads awake?
