Varend Corso Westland is an annual event starring beautiful flowers, plants and delicious vegetables. All this uniquely presented on boats that for three days sail through the waters of Westland, Schipluiden, Maassluis, Vlaardingen and Delft, among others. Every year, Varend Corso Westland can count on hundreds of thousands of visitors along the waterfront.
Varend Corso Westland strives to show as many people as possible what Westland has to offer. Without many people realizing it, the Westland is simultaneously the vegetable grocer and the flower store of the world. The parade is a showcase for the many Westland growers who work every day for the happiness and health of a great many people.
The organization of Varend Corso Westland consists of a general board and four different working groups, each of which has its own specific tasks.
