Schipluiden Parade Boat"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Owner: Marco Vuik  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Title: The Lava Giants  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arranged by: De Beeldenkas  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They say that Midden-Delfland holds a secret.<br\/>Not visible on maps.<br\/>Not detectable by satellite.<br\/>Visible only to those who dare to look through the eyes of an explorer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A long time ago, a unique world came into being in Schipluiden.<br\/>A story that feels like an expedition, as if you were sailing into a region not yet fully charted.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the heart of this untamed landscape stands De Beeldenkas.<br\/>The guardian of that world is artist Willem Berkhout.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He works on his imaginative images late into the night.<br\/>Willem is an explorer through and through. With the instinct of an adventurer and the curiosity of an archaeologist, he sees what others do not.<br\/>Where we see scrap metal, he sees traces. Where we see silence, he sees something waiting.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then they appear: the Lava Giants. As if they had risen from a hidden temple. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The three giants overlook the polders of Midden-Delfland.<br\/>They not only watch over the landscape, but also preserve the memories of a time when glass added color to the landscape.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the polder, they find an ally in the area\u2019s last grower.<br\/>He grows his Tillandsias on lightweight frames made of steel and wire.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the polder breeze, they sway gently, moved by the air and water.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, these worlds come together: a journey of discovery through fantasy and reality, past and present, and stories that only become visible when you dare to look.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welcome to the story of the Berkhout family.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They say that Midden-Delfland holds a secret.Not visible on maps.Not detectable by satellite.Visible only to those who dare to look through the eyes of an explorer.
